We will fly into Brussels, Belgium.
Distance from Des Moines to Lille is 4346 Miles
Specifically, we are going to the city of Lille, France. Lille is near the Belgium border, about 140 miles north of Paris.
We will be working with Gary & Kate DeGraaf, a great couple who we support and who minister through Greater Europe Mission.
We will also be helping out with a large Youth for Christ outreach called Bouge Ta Ville (“Get your city MOVING!” is a loose translation). There will be several teams coming from outside France to help. This will include seven days of intense service and shows and people interaction designed to lift up the name of Jesus.

Please pray for us as we prepare for this trip. Pray that God will use us and teach us. Pray that God's grace will be in abundance in Lille!

The eve of our voyage to Lille. I look at the great blog that Mark has developed and the pictures and stats bring back so many memories from my trip to Lille in 2010 with the group from Indianola Community Church. Quite a few went on that short term trip and that's where I met Gary, Kate and also Bruno. We hit it right off and we have been fast friends ever since. So the joy of going back is enhanced because we are seeing old friends (all younger than me). May God use Mark and myself as we serve our Savior in this way. Thanks for sending us. Greg
